Syttende Mai 2007! Banquet and Parade
The Norwegian National League and its member organizations hosted a Banquet and Parade to celebrate Norway's Constitution Day. The 2007 Constitution Day Banquet was held on May 19 at the Chevy Chase Country Club, Wheeling, and the Constitution Day Parade on May 20 in Hodges Park, Park Ridge at 1:00PM. Parade Route.
Our honorary parade Grand Marshal was Mr. Inge Lønning, President of the Lagting (the Upper House of Norway's Parliament). Pre-parade festivities in the park beginning at 12:00 PM included magicians and balloon art for children, crafts, refreshments, and entertainment by the Done Deal Jazz Quartet.
